Switch Testers

I make two types of switch testers. These are currently out of production but I will have advanced testers for sale at the Sydney Mechanical Keyboard Meetup 2019, happening on the 30th November.

Switch Plates

Switch plates are a single 6mm piece of acrylic that hold switches with just the right amount of friction. They can be used as switch testers or for modding switches.

Rubber feet come pre-applied.

Advanced switch testers

My advanced switch testers have gone many iterations to arrive at it's current form, and were the first keyboard related products I designed.

These are more complex than switch plates and have a number of features.

1. 1.5mm top plate allows switches to clip in securely.
2. Solid bottom for comfortable handling or use as a fidget toy.
3. Very solid internal construction for absolutely no flex.
4. High quality 3M bumpons (rubber feet) positioned for maximum stability.

Each unit requires over 20 parts to create. As such, they are not profitable due to the amount of labour required per unit. The units I have already assembled will be sold at the sydney mech meetup and leftovers will be placed on an upcoming AU based collaborative storefront.
